SQUARE 2 was originally designed by Søren Blæsbjerg in 2008 based on a simple and timeless design language.

The table is built around a clear geometric construction, where the solid base and the square tabletop form a calm and balanced whole. The shape is simple yet characteristic – a piece of furniture that fits naturally into different rooms without losing its own expression.

SQUARE 2 is intended as both a coffee table and a lounge table and is created to be used in everyday life. The clean lines and carefully tuned proportions give the table a simple expression that does not follow short-term trends.

Materials and surfaces

The base is manufactured in solid steel and is available in several matte colors:

Matte black · Matte cream white · Matte light pink · Matte dark purple

If you would like a different color, the base can also be ordered in the color of your choice.

The tabletop is manufactured in solid wood and is available in:

Oak · Ash · American walnut

The wood is treated with a matte surface that highlights the wood's natural structure and warmth.

SQUARE 2 can also be supplied with a Dekton tabletop in various colors and surfaces. This makes it possible to choose a more mineral and modern look, while at the same time preserving the table's original design language.

SQUARE 2 is an example of a design that does not need to follow trends to feel current. The shape was created in 2008, but the simple proportions and materials mean that the table still fits naturally into modern interiors.
